Calculation

Sometime you need to demonstrate to students how to make calculations. This instructional strategy can also serve as a job aid or job performance tool.

This instructional method is wonderful for giving students the opportunity to practice what they are learning in terms of calculations and making estimations. An example of a calculation is a costing model for pricing products that a client will purchase. Using the power of the computer, the student can enter in the quality and price of various products, and the program automatically calculates the final cost. An added feature can be to generate and print out an invoice.
