Question and Answer

This instructional method was developed to add a variation to the presentation/tutorial method. We were developing a course for training Technical Customer Service Representatives how to correctly answer phone calls. We also wanted to have the students become familiar with what type of questions they might receive when answering customer calls.

The student is first presented with a question or statement. They are given the opportunity to think about the statement and answer it themselves. When the student clicks the mouse button on the Answer/Definition button (or the question itself) the proper answer to the question will be displayed. If the question contained any technical terminology or jargon, it is defined and explained in the answer.
