Mini Case-Study Scenario

The Mini Case-Study Scenario instructional method provides the learner with opportunities to practice responding to various situations.

Each scenario begins with one or two screens to introduce the scenario situation. The learner will then be presented with a decision screen where they have to select the “best course of action” out of three possibilities.

Typically, one course-of-action is the correct course-of-action, one is an incorrect course-of-action, and the third is either marginally correct or incorrect. Each possible course-of-action includes one or two summary screens presenting the “results” of the student’s selection.

Scenarios might contain audio narration or video segments to introduce the situation and present the results.
