John is the Conductor and Director of the Amelia Arts Academy New Horizons Concert Band.

John has been playing music for over 40 years and in addition to conducting, the trombone is his major instrument. But of course, he plays many of the other instruments in the band.

John is a retired College Professor of Music. His main hobbies are golf, reading, fishing and traveling.

John enjoys all types of music and enjoys studying musical scores, teaching music theory and instrumental music lessons. John also especially enjoys working with the members of the New Horizon Concert Band.
